This public web-page Data Processing Addendum describes data-processing terms for Quorin, provided by 9361-9237 Québec inc., 1239 av. de l'Hotel-de-Ville, Montreal, QC, H2X 3A9. Quorin is a DBA of 9361-9237 Québec inc. Contact: hello@quorin.studio.
1. Purpose
This addendum supports studios that use Quorin to process renter and staff information. It is intended as a public web-page addendum for review and operational handoff. It is not a downloadable DPA workflow.
2. Roles
For studio account and SaaS billing information, Quorin may act as an organization responsible for its own platform relationship. For renter booking information processed inside a studio workspace, the studio generally acts as the organization that determines the purposes of processing, and Quorin acts as a service provider or processor that processes information according to the studio's instructions and Quorin's service terms.
3. Instructions and scope
Quorin processes personal information to provide, secure, maintain, support, and improve the platform; manage bookings, payments, communications, audit records, and account access; and comply with law. Studio settings, generated renter terms, renter addenda, and renter-facing policies are studio instructions and studio responsibilities.
4. Categories of data
Processed data may include names, phone numbers, emails, studio roles, booking details, room and rate selections, payment status, payment-provider identifiers, communication logs, support content, audit events, device and security data, and usage records.
5. Security measures
Quorin uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect processed information, including access controls, role separation, audit records, secure hosting practices, encrypted transport where supported, backup and recovery practices, and least-privilege operational access.
6. Subprocessors and providers
Quorin may use subprocessors and service providers for hosting, database infrastructure, authentication, payment processing, SMS delivery, observability, support, and security. Quorin remains responsible for selecting providers appropriate to the service and for using contractual protections intended to support the obligations described here.
7. Cross-border processing
Personal information may be processed in Quebec, elsewhere in Canada, the United States, and other locations where Quorin or its providers operate. Quorin uses contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards intended to protect information when it is processed across borders.
8. Assistance and incidents
Quorin will use reasonable efforts to assist studios with privacy requests, security inquiries, and legally required information about the platform, taking into account the nature of the processing and the information available to Quorin. Quorin will notify affected studios of confirmed security incidents involving their workspace information as required by applicable law or agreement.
9. Return, deletion, and retention
At the end of service, Quorin will delete or return studio-controlled personal information according to the platform's capabilities, legal requirements, backup retention, audit needs, and dispute-resolution obligations.
10. Governing law
This addendum is intended to be governed by Quebec law and the applicable federal laws of Canada, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
