This policy covers Quorin's SaaS platform, studio administration tools, renter booking flows operated through Quorin, support communications, and public legal pages. It does not replace a studio's own renter privacy notice or renter terms. Studios remain responsible for their renter-facing policies and for generated renter terms they choose to publish.

Quorin may process account and profile details, studio business information, staff roles, renter names and contact details, booking history, room and rate data, payment status and payment-provider identifiers, support messages, SMS delivery records, audit logs, usage data, device and security data, and other information submitted through the platform.

Quorin uses information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, manage studio accounts, create and manage bookings, send operational SMS messages, support payments and billing, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain audit records, improve the product, and comply with legal obligations.

For studio account administration and SaaS billing, Quorin generally acts as an organization responsible for its own platform relationship with studios. For renter booking data entered into a studio's Quorin workspace, the studio generally determines the renter relationship and policies, while Quorin provides processing tools on the studio's behalf.

Quorin may share information with service providers that help operate the platform, including hosting, database, analytics or observability, SMS, email, payment, authentication, support, and security providers. Quorin may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, in connection with a business transaction, or with appropriate authorization.

SMS/text messaging opt-in data and consent are not sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties, affiliates, or marketing partners for their own marketing/promotional purposes. Quorin shares SMS/text messaging opt-in data and consent with SMS providers only as needed to deliver Quorin transactional messages, such as verification codes, account access messages, booking confirmations, booking changes or cancellations, and reminders. Where a studio has enabled its optional promotional line, that line travels inside one of those same booking confirmations or reminders rather than as a separate marketing send; recipients can disable it per channel from their Quorin account, and an SMS STOP reply suppresses it along with everything else.

Payment details may be handled by Stripe or another payment provider. Quorin stores payment-provider identifiers and payment status information needed to operate booking and billing flows, but does not use stored card details outside the authorized payment flow.

Quorin uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure. Quorin retains information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements.

Information may be processed in Quebec, elsewhere in Canada, the United States, or other locations where Quorin or its providers operate. Quorin uses contractual, organizational, and technical measures intended to protect information when it is processed across borders.

Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain information, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Requests may be sent to hello@quorin.studio. If the request relates to a studio's renter relationship, Quorin may direct the request to the relevant studio.

Quorin may update this policy as the product, laws, or business practices change. The version and effective date identify the current version.

This policy is intended to be interpreted under Quebec law and the applicable federal privacy laws of Canada, subject to any mandatory local rights that apply.

Where Quorin operates public classes and ticketing, Quorin also processes information about people who buy tickets or passes: their name, email, phone number, and their purchase and attendance records for each class. This information is used to sell and deliver tickets, run the class roster, send confirmations and reminders, process refunds, and support payments. When a buyer registers other people, Quorin also processes the name the buyer gives for each attendee, to identify that attendee's ticket and run the class roster and check-in. It is shown to that class's organizer and kept with the purchase record.

Some classes balance women and men, such as partner dances. To register online for such a class, a buyer must choose Woman or Man for each place. Gender is asked for only as these two registration sides, and only balanced classes ask for it. Quorin uses this choice to keep the class's registrations balanced, to run its waiting list, to let the organizer see each place's side and to suggest the customer's own side next time, never for marketing or profiling. By choosing the side of their own place, a buyer consents to these uses. A buyer may choose the side of someone else's place, at checkout or on a waiting list, only with that person's agreement. Each place's side is kept with the purchase record, subject to the retention rule below, and can no longer be changed online once the place is reserved. It can be shown to that class's organizer, on the class roster and its export. Anyone viewing the class page sees only whether a date can take one more woman or one more man, which in a small class can reveal its mix. The first time a customer reserves places in such a class with the first place in their own name, Quorin saves that place's side on their account to suggest it next time, even if they do not finish registering. The customer can change it on their account page, where choosing "Prefer not to say" replaces the saved side and stops the suggestion. The setting itself cannot be removed there. To have a saved side or a place's side corrected or deleted, a request can be made as described in section 9.

Quorin removes the Woman or Man choice saved with a registration during periodic maintenance after 12 calendar months have elapsed from the end of the ticket's session or the last session covered by the pass. For an abandoned checkout, this period runs from the end of the last session in its last saved selection. In both cases, the period is calculated in UTC using current session end times, including cancelled sessions. Removal may be delayed if maintenance cannot complete. This removes only that registration or abandoned-checkout choice, leaving purchase records, attendee names, financial records and ticket evidence intact. The account preference and waiting-list entries described here follow their separate rules.

When a class date is full and the class has a waiting list, or a balanced class cannot take a place's side, a signed-in customer with a confirmed email address can join that date's waiting list. Quorin keeps each waiting-list entry with the customer's account, including the date, the number of places and their sides, why it is waiting, its status and when it changed, the offers made, and the purchase it led to, if any. When places open up for an entry, Quorin holds them for that customer for a limited time and sends the offer by email only. The organizer can see only waiting-list counts, by side in a balanced class, never who is waiting. Leaving the waiting list stops its offers. An entry that has ended is kept for 12 months as the record of the offers made, then deleted. It can be deleted sooner on request as described in section 9.

These data-processing terms apply when Quorin handles personal information on behalf of a studio or individual organizer under the applicable service agreement. The relevant studio or organizer determines the purposes of its customer administration, subject to applicable law. Quorin processes that information to perform the agreed services and lawful documented instructions. Each party remains responsible for processing it carries out for its own purposes, including applicable account, security and legally required transaction records. The legal characterization of each role follows the applicable privacy law and actual processing activity.

Quorin retains this information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements, consistent with section 7 above. Buyers, and the attendees they name, may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain their information, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, as described in section 9 above; a request that relates to a specific organizer's class may be directed to that organizer.
