Paying for your bookings
It depends on the studio. Where it takes card payments online, you pay at the end of booking, or save a card it charges when free cancellation ends; otherwise you pay the studio directly. A booking is never cancelled because a payment failed.

How you pay
- When you book. Where the studio takes card payments online, the last step of a booking is the payment (see Book a room). If free cancellation is already over for that time, or the studio has none, you pay now. If it is still ahead, nothing is charged today: the summary says when your card will be charged.
- With your saved card. If you have one, the payment step offers to use it, or Use a different card.
- A balance later. Where the studio takes card payments online, a booking that still owes money, with no scheduled charge that covers it and not on a daily or weekly bill, shows Pay your balance on its page: pay with your saved card, or enter a card.
- A payment link. The studio can text or email you a link to a page, Pay this session. Whoever has the link can pay it, and paying there doesn’t save the card.
- At the studio. At a studio that doesn’t take card payments online, booking has no payment step: you pay the studio the way it asks, and it records the payment. From the day of the session, your Home lists what you still owe there as To pay at the studio.
Your saved card
When you save a card, you tick an authorization for that studio. It covers your bookings, the fees its cancellation policy sets and adjustments to your bookings, until you remove the card. At some studios, it covers only the booking or series you are paying for: the text beside the box says which. A booking charged later, and a weekly series, always save your card. A booking paid right away saves it too, except at those studios, where you can tick Save this card to my profile for faster future bookings at this studio.
You keep one saved card for every studio you book with, under Payment method on your account (see Your account and signing in). Update card replaces it everywhere, scheduled charges included. You can’t use Remove card while you owe a studio money, while a charge is scheduled on the card, or while it pays a daily or weekly bill.
When your card is charged
- A single booking: at the end of booking if free cancellation is already over or the studio has none; otherwise when it ends, which the summary shows. Charges go out once an hour, so expect it within the hour after that time.
- A weekly series: each week is its own charge, made at the later of two moments: when that week’s free cancellation ends, and a lead time before it starts that the studio sets (36 hours by default). A week already due when you book is charged then.
- Paying early: on a booking whose charge is scheduled, Pay now instead pays it now. The confirmation names the amount and the card first, and your payment replaces the scheduled one.
- Daily or weekly billing: if the studio bills you this way, nothing is charged when you book. Your bookings of the same day or week are charged together to your saved card, once all of them have ended or later.
- A late fee, or the price of a change: see Change or cancel a booking.
When a payment fails
- While you book: if your saved card can’t be charged, nothing is charged, and you can pay with a different card.
- A scheduled charge the card declines is tried once more an hour later, unless a retry cannot help (an expired card, for example). If it still fails, you get a text or an email, as your notification preferences allow. It has a link to pay and a link to update your card, and your Home shows A payment did not go through.
- If a scheduled charge for a booking was declined, update your card and it is tried again on the new card within the hour. A daily or weekly bill is not tried again when you update your card: pay it with Pay this bill in My bookings.
Your booking is kept. Quorin never cancels a booking because a payment failed: the amount stays owed until it is paid.
ExampleThursday 7–9 p.m., booked on Sunday
On Sunday you book Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. online: $68.99 with Quebec’s GST and QST. The studio’s free cancellation ends 24 hours before the start.
- Nothing is charged on Sunday. The summary says your card will be charged on Wednesday at 7 p.m., and you choose Save card and confirm.
- Wednesday just after 7 p.m., your card is charged $68.99.
- Had it been declined for lack of funds, it would have been tried again an hour later. Had that failed too, you would get a message with a link to pay and a link to update your card, and your Home would show A payment did not go through · $68.99.
- Either way, Thursday’s booking stays yours. Paying from the link settles it; if you update your card instead, the charge is tried again on the new card.

- Book a roomOn the studio’s calendar, press New booking and choose the date, time, length, room and rate. You sign in, accept the studio’s booking terms and, where the studio takes payment online, finish the payment step: the booking is then confirmed, with no approval to wait for.
- Book a weekly seriesTurn on Repeat weekly in the booking form and choose the date the series runs until: the same room and time are booked every week (except any that conflict), each week as its own booking. You cancel weeks from the series itself; to change one, contact the studio.
- Change or cancel a bookingOpen the booking and use Change Booking or Cancel Booking. The studio’s cancellation and change policy decides whether it is free, costs a late fee, or can no longer be done from your side, and the booking shows you the policy and any fee before you confirm.
