When you can book
Each studio sets how many days ahead you can book, its opening hours and how far apart its start times are, and it can limit how many upcoming bookings you hold. The booking form offers only times inside those rules, and it tells you when a date is past the studio’s booking window.

How far ahead
A studio can limit how many days ahead you can book, counted from today in the studio’s own time zone. You can still look at the calendar past that date; you just can’t book there. On such a day the calendar says so, for example “Bookings can be made up to 30 days in advance.”, and the booking form says the date is outside the studio’s booking window.
A studio can set a different limit for weekly series. That limit applies to the first session you book in the series; the sessions after it can run past it.
Which times
- Opening hours: a booking must fit inside the studio’s hours, and a day the studio is closed can’t be booked.
- Time step: start times and lengths follow the studio’s step, for example every 30 minutes.
- Times the studio has blocked, and times another booking already has, are not offered.
- Gaps: a studio can refuse a booking that would leave a gap shorter than its minimum before or after it, measured to another booking, a blocked time, or opening or closing time. A booking that starts or ends right against one of those is never refused for its gap.
- Today: start times that have already passed are not offered.
How many
- Upcoming bookings: a studio can cap how many upcoming bookings you hold at once. Sessions of a weekly series don’t count toward it.
- Weekly series: a studio can cap how many active series you have, and how many sessions one series can have.
- The studio can set your own limit on upcoming bookings or on active series, different from other renters’.
If you reach a limit, you’re told when you try to finish the booking, for example: “You have reached the maximum number of upcoming bookings for this studio.” Cancel a booking, or wait until one’s day has passed, and you can book again.
Where a studio has turned online booking off, the calendar has no New booking button. For a booking outside these rules, contact the studio.
Example30 days for one-off bookings, 60 for a series
Today is March 1. The studio takes one-off bookings up to 30 days ahead and weekly series up to 60 days ahead, is open 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and books in 30-minute steps.
- March 31 is the last day you can book a one-off session: it is 30 days away.
- On April 10, the form says one-off bookings can be made up to 30 days in advance, and that this date is open to weekly series only.
- A weekly series starting April 10 can be booked, and its sessions can run into June (unless the studio caps sessions per series): only its first session has to be within the 60 days.
- A 10:15 a.m. start is not offered (10:00 and 10:30 are), and neither is a booking from 10:00 to 11:30 p.m., which would end after closing.

- Book a weekly seriesTurn on Repeat weekly in the booking form and choose the date the series runs until: the same room and time are booked every week (except any that conflict), each week as its own booking. You cancel weeks from the series itself; to change one, contact the studio.
