Your receipts

Quorin issues a receipt each time a studio receives money for your booking, and a refund receipt for each refund. Find them on the booking’s page under Activity, in My bookings and in Monthly statements.

When you get a receipt

  • Each payment for your booking gets its own receipt: a card payment of any kind (at booking, a charge to your saved card, a balance, a payment link), or money the studio records, such as cash.
  • A receipt covers what its payment paid for. Pay part of a booking now and the rest later, and you get two receipts.
  • A refund gets a Refund receipt.
  • If the studio voids a payment it recorded by mistake, a Receipt correction reverses that payment’s receipt.
  • Nothing is issued before money is received: not when a booking is made unpaid, not when a charge fails, and not when the price changes before it is paid.
  • If the studio gives you its own receipt for a payment, Quorin issues none for the part that receipt covers.
  • For daily or weekly billing, payments collected on a bill are documented there, under Daily bill or Weekly bill in Activity. A separate payment recorded on a booking can have its own receipt; that same money is not documented again on the bill.
  • An older booking may show an Invoice instead of a receipt.

Where to find them

  • On the booking’s page, Activity lists each Receipt with its number. Open one to see it: Download PDF saves it, and Back to booking takes you back to it.
  • In My bookings, a booking with a receipt has a receipt icon on its row. It downloads the booking’s most recent receipt or refund receipt (Download receipt), or, for a booking on a daily or weekly bill, the bill’s receipt. When nothing is due, See receipts on your Home opens your past bookings.
  • In My bookings on a studio’s pages, Monthly statements gathers each finished month’s receipts and refund receipts at that studio: View opens one, Download PDF saves it. A month with receipts is listed once it has ended.
  • An email telling you money moved on your booking carries that money’s own receipt or refund receipt: a link to it, with a PDF copy when one can be attached. An email about money that did not move (a failed charge, an amount owed or due) carries none, and neither does one sent before that receipt is issued. Money on a daily or weekly bill is documented on the bill: its receipt comes in its own email, and a booking email about a refund of that money carries no refund receipt. For a new refund on a daily or weekly bill, a separate email links to the refund receipt when it is issued. It follows your email preferences and the studio’s notification choice, and may include a PDF. That email announces the document’s availability, not when money reaches your bank. Every receipt and refund receipt stays on the booking’s page, or on the bill’s page for a daily or weekly bill.

What a receipt shows

  • The studio’s name, address and contact details, the receipt’s number and the date it was issued.
  • Billed to: your name, with your company if the studio has it, and the booking’s reference.
  • What the payment covers, with the date and time of each session, then the Subtotal, each tax with its rate and the studio’s registration number, and the Total.
  • A refund receipt also shows Amount retained from the original receipt: what the original receipt still covers after the refund.

ExampleStudio B, paid in two parts

At the studio’s desk, the staff book Studio B for you for 2 hours at $40 an hour: $80 before tax, $91.98 with Quebec’s GST and QST. You pay $50 in cash on the spot, and the rest later through the payment link the studio texts you.

  • The studio records your $50, and a receipt for $50.00 is issued: it shows the share of the booking and of its taxes that $50 pays for.
  • Two days later you pay the remaining $41.98 through the link, and a second receipt, for $41.98, is issued.
  • Both are under Activity on the booking’s page. In My bookings, the row’s receipt icon downloads the second one.
  • Once the month has ended, both are on that month’s Monthly statement.
