For studios
For the people who run a studio: owners, admins and staff.
Getting started
- Setting up your studioThe setup wizard creates your studio with its hours and a first room, and keeps it private. Getting started on your Home then lists what is left to open: turn on online booking and connect Stripe, plus the terms if you did not accept them in the wizard.
- Team and rolesA studio member is an Admin or Staff. Staff run the day: bookings, renters and payments. Admins also change settings and make exceptions to your rules, such as waiving a fee.
Calendar and bookings
- The calendarThe calendar shows one day at a time, one column per room. A booking’s colour tells you where its payment stands, and striped blocks are time that is not open for booking: closed hours, blackouts, held slots and linked rooms.
- Managing bookingsCreate a booking from the calendar or with New Booking, then run it from its sheet: change it, cancel it, collect it. Before anything is charged to a saved card, you are shown the amount, the card and the timing, and you choose.
- Walk-ins and paying at the deskBook someone who is at the desk like any other booking, adding them as a new renter with a name and a phone number. Money they hand you, in cash or on your own terminal, goes on the booking with Record external payment: Quorin writes it down and charges nothing.
- Formatting internal notesInternal notes are written in Markdown: a few plain-text marks that turn into headings, bold text and lists once the note is saved. None of it is required: ordinary sentences work just as well.
Rooms and rates
- Rooms and ratesEach room you rent has its own rates. A rate is hourly, so the price follows the length of the booking, or flat, the same price however long it lasts. A room without an active rate cannot be booked online.
- Linked roomsTwo rooms are linked when they cannot both be used at the same time. Booking either one takes those hours off the other’s calendar.
- Taxes and what your renter seesYour rates are the price before tax. Each tax you add is calculated on that price and shown as its own line, both when the renter books and on the document they keep.
Policies
- Cancellation and change policyYou choose how many hours before a booking a renter can still cancel or change it for nothing, and what it costs them once that moment has passed.
- Booking windowRenters can book any free time that has not started yet, inside your opening hours and your booking rules, up to the number of days ahead you set. There is no minimum notice.
Series and held slots
- Recurring bookingsA series is one weekly slot booked many times over. Each occurrence is a real booking of its own — cancelled and counted separately, and billed like any other booking.
- Held slotsWhen a series ends, its weekly slot does not go straight back on the calendar. The studio keeps it held for the same renter for a set number of days, so they can renew it before another renter books it.
Money and payouts
- How the money reaches youStripe charges your renter’s card under your own business name and pays the money out to your bank. It never passes through Quorin.
- Cards on fileOnly the renter saves a card: at an online checkout, for a weekly series, or on their Account page at your studio. Their profile in Renters shows the card your studio can charge. Your team charges it from a booking or an unpaid daily or weekly bill; only the renter can replace or remove it.
- Receipts, invoices and monthly statementsReceipts document recorded payments; refund receipts and corrections preserve what happened afterward. Find issued documents in booking Activity and bill history, and a renter’s latest completed-month statement on their profile.
- Daily and weekly billingWhere period billing is available, a renter’s daily or weekly bill collects eligible unpaid bookings together. On their profile, Billing periods shows past bills and the available actions for an unpaid balance.
- Quorin fee statementsQuorin’s monthly fee statement lists its fees, and the taxes on them, already deducted from your studio’s card payments: one statement per month and currency. Admins open it in Settings › Billing, under Quorin fee statements, and can download it as a PDF.
Renters and students
Classes
- Running your own classesWhere Quorin has turned classes on for your studio, you can sell tickets to classes in your own rooms: book the room for the studio, make the class public, set its price and spots, and publish it.
- Classes from your rentersRenters can publish their own classes for a booking in your studio. This switch decides whether those classes are listed for sale on your public classes page.
- Checking attendees inOn the day of a class, open the session’s roster and press Scan tickets to scan each ticket’s QR code, or check people in by name on the roster. Admins and staff can both do it, for your studio’s own classes.
Notifications and reminders
- Reminders you sendThe Reminder row of a booking sets one message the renter receives before the booking starts, by SMS, email or both. It starts from the renter’s own defaults, and what you choose applies to that booking only.
- What your renters receiveYour renters receive booking and payment notices by text, email or both, unless you choose not to notify them. Each renter chooses their channels; STOP blocks new notification texts to that number across Quorin.
Your Quorin plan
Settings
- Custom domain and brandingEvery plan can show your logo. Growth and Scale also give your booking pages your own colors and font, and Scale serves your booking pages on a domain you own.
- Your studio’s languagesYour studio is offered in one or two languages, depending on where it is located. Each renter and visitor sees your pages and gets your messages in their own language when you offer it, and in your default language when you don’t.
