The AI concierge
The AI concierge is included on every plan. On your booking page it helps renters find a time and book it; in your admin, it helps you and your staff check availability and prepare one-off bookings, which a person always confirms.
In this section
It answers in English or French, following the language the person writes in.
For your renters
- Where your studio takes bookings online, renters open it with Ask AI on your booking page. It opens by itself for a visitor who isn’t signed in, until they close it for that visit.
- It finds open times, quotes your rates, helps pick a room and a rate, and prepares the booking. The renter confirms in the booking summary the chat shows, which takes care of signing in, room rules and payment.
- It prepares weekly series only where renters may book series themselves.
- It sticks to booking at your studio and to how Quorin works. When a request can’t be done online — a date past your booking window, a series the renter can’t start online — it says so and, if your studio has published a public email or phone, points them to it.
- Each plan includes a monthly amount of concierge use, shared with your admin concierge. With a card on file, it keeps answering past that amount and the extra use can be billed on your next invoice, up to a safety limit. Without one, or while a payment is failing, the chat sends renters to the booking form once the amount is reached.
In Settings › Booking page, AI concierge instructions gives the renters’ concierge up to 2,000 characters of house rules, tone or things to always mention. It treats them as guidance: they can’t change your prices, availability or booking rules, and the admin concierge doesn’t read them.
For you and your staff
AI Concierge in the admin menu is open to admins and staff. It checks availability, looks up rates, weighs room fit and your rules, studies weekly-series availability, and prepares one-off bookings. Given the renter’s name and phone, it shows a proposal; the booking is created, as confirmed, only when you press the proposal’s confirmation.
- If the booking would charge the renter’s card, the proposal states that charge and the concierge asks you to confirm it first. You can ask for the booking unpaid instead.
- An admin can ask it to go past the maximum advance booking, business hours, closures, the minimum gap, rate restrictions or minimum durations, and for an admin it goes past a renter’s booking cap with a warning; the proposal names each exception. Staff can’t, and a booking that overlaps another is never allowed.
- When the monthly amount stops the concierge, an admin is pointed to billing and staff are told to ask an admin.
Questions about how Quorin works
Both concierges answer questions about how Quorin works from these help articles, and end with a link to the article they used. Your renters’ concierge reads the help for renters and for class attendees; yours reads the help for studios and for renters. Articles about classes are offered only when your studio runs classes. Where your studio’s own rules differ from an article, your rules win, and an article never lets the concierge do more than its limits. When no article covers a question, it says so rather than guessing.
What it can’t do
- Change, cancel, refund or charge a booking that already exists.
- Create a weekly series for you: it can check the series’ availability, then tells you to book the series yourself.
- Tell you a booking was created or a card was charged: the proposal itself shows you what happened.
- Ask for a renter’s payment details.
ExampleA call on a Friday morning
A renter calls the desk: they want a room for six people this Friday, 7–10 p.m. A staff member types the request into AI Concierge.
- It checks Friday’s availability and your rates, and suggests the room that fits six.
- With the renter’s name and phone, it shows a proposal. Nothing is booked until the staff member presses its confirmation.
- Your studio closes at 9 p.m.: the concierge tells the staff member that an admin must handle it. An admin who asks it to go past business hours gets a proposal that names that exception.
- Asked to refund last week’s booking, it says it can’t: that is done on the booking itself.
