Renter profiles

Your studio keeps one profile per phone number: no two renter profiles share a number, so a person on file with two numbers has two profiles. Under Renters you see each renter’s bookings and contact details, set their language while they have no account, and choose how their future bookings are billed.

In this section

Open Renters in the menu; admins and staff both have it. The list shows every renter profile at your studio, most recent booking first, including people who have a profile but no booking yet. Search by name, phone or email, and open a renter to see their profile. Where your studio runs classes, a switch at the top moves to Students, the people who bought tickets to your classes.

One profile per phone number

When you book for someone, the phone number you enter decides the profile: a number your studio already has puts the booking on that renter’s profile, and a new number creates a new profile. When a renter books with their own account, the booking goes on a profile linked to that account: their first booking with you creates one, or links them to the profile you already made for their number once they confirm that number.

  • Two profiles can’t share a phone number, or an email. Changing a renter’s phone to one another renter already has is refused.
  • You can’t merge two profiles yourself. Quorin can combine two profiles on its own when both come to belong to the same person’s account, for example when they sign in with a confirmed email you typed on the second one. When you book for someone who is already a renter, pick them or type the number they are on file with.
  • A profile you create at the desk has no Quorin account (Guest (no account)). When the person later verifies that phone number with their own account, the profile is linked to it (Linked).
  • A banner at the top of the list counts renters with no usable phone number on file. To fix one, open their profile and add the number under Contact details.

On the profile

  • Contact: name, email and phone, whether they have an account, their total bookings, their last booking and when you first saw them.
  • Contact details: you can correct the name, phone and email. A phone or email the renter verified themselves shows Verified by renter, and only they can change it. A phone you edit is unverified until the renter confirms it.
  • Card on file: the card your studio can charge for this renter, if any — saved for your studio only, or saved to their account and authorized for your studio.
  • Preferred language: see below.
  • Booking limit overrides (admins only): this renter’s own caps on One-off bookings and Recurring series. Blank uses your studio’s default; 0 means unlimited.
  • Billing schedule: see below.
  • Booking history: their bookings, latest date first.

The renter’s language

A renter with an account picks their own language there, and the profile shows Follows the renter's account language. For a renter with no account, set Preferred language: their texts and emails use it when your studio offers that language. See Your studio’s languages.

Billing schedule

Billing schedule sets how this renter’s future bookings are grouped for billing: Per booking, Daily — one bill per studio-local day or Weekly — one bill per Monday–Sunday week. Admins and staff can change it. Daily and weekly are available only once Quorin has turned them on for your studio, when your payment setup allows it, and for a renter with a saved card they have authorized your studio to charge. What each schedule means for the money is in How the money reaches you.

ExampleOne person, two numbers

Alex books online with their cell, 514-555-0148. A month later they call the desk from their work line, 514-555-0199, and you book them a room on that number.

  • Your studio now has two profiles for Alex, one per number, and their bookings are split between them.
  • Changing the second profile’s phone to 514-555-0148 is refused: that number belongs to another renter.
  • Had you picked Alex in the booking form, or typed 514-555-0148, the booking would have gone on their existing profile, with its language and billing schedule.
  • The second profile was created at the desk and has no account: if your studio offers French and Alex reads French, set its Preferred language to French; otherwise their texts about that booking use your default language.
