Checking attendees in
On the day of a class, open the session’s roster and press Scan tickets to scan each ticket’s QR code, or check people in by name on the roster. Admins and staff can both do it, for your studio’s own classes.
In this section
Each session of your studio’s classes has a roster: open it from Up next on the Classes page, or, as an admin, from the class’s sessions (Roster). It lists every purchase with its seats, and counts how many people are checked in.
A renter who sells a class in your rooms checks in their own attendees; their rosters are not in your admin.
Scan tickets
Customers have one ticket per seat, each with its own QR code, under My tickets in their account, and can download them as a PDF. The roster offers Scan tickets all day on the day of the class, and from four hours before it starts until four hours after it ends; before then it says Scanning opens on the day of the class. Point a phone’s camera at the code, use a USB or Bluetooth scanner on a computer, or paste the ticket link.
- Checked in: the seat is checked in.
- Already checked in at a time: that seat came through earlier.
- This ticket is for another class or time: it belongs to another session, and nobody is checked in.
- This ticket was cancelled. or Not on this roster.: nobody is checked in.
- Marked no-show. Check in from the roster instead.: a scan never overrides a no-show; check the seat in from the roster.
- That isn’t a Quorin ticket.: the code is not one of ours.
Offline, scans are saved on the device and sync by themselves once it is back online, while the scanner is open. Don’t sign out before they have synced: unsynced scans are lost on sign-out, and after 24 hours.
On the roster
- Check in a seat, mark it No-show, or Undo either. Check in all checks in every seat of a purchase at once.
- Search the roster by name or email, and show only the people Not checked in.
- Several devices — two desks, or the scanner on another phone — stay in step while check-in is open.
- Add walk-in puts someone you take at the door on the roster. Walk-ins take seats like tickets do, but Quorin charges them nothing and sends them nothing; a note such as “paid cash” is for your records only. When the session is full, remove a walk-in, or have an admin raise the class’s Spots.
- Admins also see Download CSV, refunds and Message attendees.
- In a class that balances women and men, each seat also shows its side (Woman, Man or No side), and the roster counts the seats per side and the waiting list, never who is waiting: see Balance women and men.
ExampleSaturday, 10 a.m.
Your Saturday 10 a.m. class has 16 spots and 14 seats sold. One couple bought their two tickets in a single purchase.
- At 9:40 you open the roster from Up next and press Scan tickets. Each of the couple’s two codes checks in one seat.
- A customer shows next Saturday’s ticket: the scanner answers This ticket is for that class and time, and checks nobody in.
- Someone whose phone has died gives their name: you search the roster for it and press Check in.
- Two friends turn up without tickets: Add walk-in with 2 seats. The roster now shows 16 of 16 taken, and the session is full.
