Booking window
Renters can book any free time that has not started yet, inside your opening hours and your booking rules, up to the number of days ahead you set. There is no minimum notice.

How far ahead renters can book
In Settings › Booking rules, the Limits per renter card holds the window. Maximum advance booking (days) is how many days ahead a renter can book a one-off session, counted from today on your studio’s clock. 0 means today only. Leave it empty for no limit.
Maximum advance booking for recurring series (days) limits how far ahead a weekly series can start. Only its first booked date is measured; the series then runs as long as Max bookings per recurring series allows. Leave it empty and the one-off limit applies.
The same card caps how much one renter can hold at a time: Max upcoming bookings per renter and Max recurring series per renter (0 means no cap).
Minimum notice
There is no minimum-notice setting. A renter is offered every free start time that has not passed yet, so a slot that starts in 20 minutes can still be booked.
Opening hours and closures
- Opening hours, in Settings › Hours & closures: renters book only inside them.
- Closures & special hours, on the same page, changes or closes one date without touching your weekly hours.
- Time slots and gaps, on the same page: Booking time increment sets the grid start times step on (every 15, 30 or 60 minutes), and Minimum gap between bookings refuses a booking that would leave a gap shorter than that before or after it, unless it starts or ends right against another booking, a blackout, or your opening or closing time.
- A booking rule in Settings › Booking rules set to Unavailable (a blackout) blocks a time for the whole studio (Studio-wide) or for one Room. Other rules can allow only some rates, or set a Minimum duration, for a time window.
Bookings your team makes
Staff are held to the same window, hours, blackouts, minimum gap and per-renter caps as renters. When a date is too far ahead, their booking form says Ask an admin for a book-ahead exception.
An admin can book past the window, outside opening hours, inside a blackout or below the minimum gap, and over a renter’s cap, after confirming the override. The booking is still created, with a notice saying the override was recorded. A time that is already booked, or taken by a linked room, can never be overridden.
Example30 days ahead, open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Your maximum advance booking is 30 days and you are open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. Today is Monday, March 2.
- A renter can book any free time up to Wednesday, April 1. No times are offered on April 2.
- At 9:40 a.m. today, a renter can still book 10 a.m. today: nothing asks for notice.
- A renter cannot book 10 p.m. to midnight: it is outside your opening hours.
- A staff member asked for April 10 cannot book it and asks an admin. The admin books it; a notice then says it is more than 30 days ahead and that the admin override was recorded.
What a renter may still do after booking, cancel or change, is the cancellation and change policy.

- Cancellation and change policyYou choose how many hours before a booking a renter can still cancel or change it for nothing, and what it costs them once that moment has passed.
- The calendarThe calendar shows one day at a time, one column per room. A booking’s colour tells you where its payment stands, and striped blocks are time that is not open for booking: closed hours, blackouts, held slots and linked rooms.
- Managing bookingsCreate a booking from the calendar or with New Booking, then run it from its sheet: change it, cancel it, collect it. Before anything is charged to a saved card, you are shown the amount, the card and the timing, and you choose.
