Quorin fee statements

Quorin’s monthly fee statement lists its fees, and the taxes on them, already deducted from your studio’s card payments: one statement per month and currency. Admins open it in Settings › Billing, under Quorin fee statements, and can download it as a PDF.

In this section

Where to find them

In Settings › Billing, which only admins can open, the Quorin fee statements card lists the last 12 months that have payments, one row per month and currency. View statement opens one. For any other month, choose a Month and a Currency (CAD or USD), then View statement.

  • The month in progress reads Current month · provisional. Its statement is a preview that can still change; the final one is issued once the month has ended.
  • A statement follows a calendar month in UTC, not your studio’s time zone.
  • The first time a finished month is opened, Quorin issues its statement, with a number (QF-…) and a revision number. If that month’s payments change later, the next opening issues a new revision that replaces it; earlier ones stay under Previous revisions.
  • Download PDF saves the issued statement. A provisional month has no PDF.

What a statement lists

  • Quorin as supplier and your studio as customer, with Quorin’s tax registration numbers.
  • One line per card payment whose Quorin fee was paid that month: its date (UTC), its payment reference, Quorin’s fee, the tax on it and the total.
  • For a booking, the fee is your plan’s commission on its subtotal, and a daily or weekly bill is one line. If your studio runs its own classes, each ticket or pass sale is a line too, with Quorin’s fee on it: 5% of the price before tax, on every plan.
  • The totals: Quorin fees before tax, each tax with its rate, and Total already paid.
  • Amount due is always zero: the fees were deducted from your payments when they were processed, and the statement creates no new charge.
  • Refunding a rental does not refund Quorin’s fee. A Quorin fee that Stripe does refund is credited in the month of the refund, under Quorin fees credited; the month of the original fee is not revised.

What it leaves out

  • Stripe’s own processing and dispute fees, which Stripe bills to your studio directly under separate billing.
  • Payments you record, such as cash or your own terminal: Quorin takes no fee on them.
  • Fees from before separate billing, whether taken together with Stripe’s processing or, on Quorin’s earliest payment setup, as the plan share alone: those payments are listed as records to reconcile, not as lines, and their taxes are unknown, not zero.
  • A card payment whose fee settlement Stripe has not confirmed yet: the statement says it is awaiting a settlement date and leaves it out of the totals.
  • A payment Stripe confirmed whose booking record is still missing: the month says it needs reconciliation, and has no final statement or PDF until it is complete.

ExampleSeptember, on Starter

Your studio is in Quebec, on Starter (a 7% commission) with separate billing, and paid in CAD. In September, renters pay two bookings by card and one in cash.

  • September 12: a booking with a $120 subtotal. Quorin’s fee is $8.40, plus $0.42 GST and $0.84 QST: $9.66 was deducted when it was paid. It is a line on September’s statement.
  • September 20: $60 in cash, which you record. It is not on the statement.
  • September 30 at 9:30 p.m., Montreal time: an $80 booking. It is already October 1 in UTC, so its fee, $5.60 plus tax ($6.44 in all), is on October’s statement.
  • Until September ends, its row reads Current month · provisional. In October, View statement issues the final one: Quorin fees before tax $8.40, GST $0.42, QST $0.84, Total already paid $9.66, Amount due $0.00. Download PDF saves it for your accountant.
