Setting up your studio
The setup wizard creates your studio with its hours and a first room, and keeps it private. Getting started on your Home then lists what is left to open: turn on online booking and connect Stripe, plus the terms if you did not accept them in the wizard.

The setup wizard
Set up your studio walks through a few steps. Your answers become your settings, and every one of them can be changed afterwards. One exception: answering that renters set up their own regular bookings leaves Allow renters to book recurring series themselves off, so turn it on in Settings › Booking page.
- Plan: the Quorin plan you start on.
- Your studio: its name, its web address and where it is. Create my studio creates it here.
- How you work: your booking time increment, the gap between bookings, your cancellation and change policy, regular bookings, how much one renter can hold, and notes for the AI assistant. Every question can be skipped; skipping leaves a safe default.
- Hours: when you are open. At least one day must be open.
- Your first room: a room and one rate, hourly or flat.
- Sales tax: your currency and the taxes you charge.
- Summary, then Free trial on a plan with a trial or Your card on the others: you accept the Quorin SaaS Terms there, then add a card for your Quorin plan. If you don’t accept them, Go to my dashboard finishes without a card, and without starting a trial.
You land on your Home. Until online booking is on, only your team can book: anyone with your booking page’s address can open it, but renters cannot book from it.
The Getting started checklist
Admins see Getting started on the Home until every step is done; staff never see it. Each step’s Continue opens the page where it is done, and the Setup pill on admin pages brings you back. These steps are required:
- Accept the Quorin SaaS terms, in Settings › Studio profile. It is already done if you accepted the terms in the wizard. Until then you cannot turn on online booking, connect Stripe or change your billing.
- Set your opening hours, in Settings › Hours & closures. Renters book only inside them.
- Put a rate on your room, in Settings › Rates. A room without one can’t be booked online.
- Turn on online booking: Allow renters to self-book, in Settings › Booking page. Until it is on, only your team creates bookings. The first time, Quorin asks for a card for your plan if there is none (Add a card before you go live): going live stays free, and the card covers text messages and the AI assistant beyond what your plan includes.
- Connect Stripe to accept payments: Connect with Stripe, in Settings › Payments, links the bank account your booking payments are deposited into. Until it is connected, renters can’t pay online.
The recommended steps, such as your logo, a second admin, your other rooms and a look at your cancellation policy, never block anything.
ExampleOut of the wizard
You finish the wizard with one room, Studio A, at $40 an hour, open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and you leave the last step with Go to my dashboard without accepting the terms. Getting started still shows the terms, online booking and Stripe.
- Right away, your team can book Studio A from the calendar. Renters cannot book it online.
- Turning on online booking is refused until the terms are accepted.
- Turn online booking on before connecting Stripe, and renters can book single sessions: those bookings are created unpaid, to be paid at the studio. A renter cannot set up a weekly series online until Stripe is connected.
- Connect Stripe, and from then on renters can pay online.

- Team and rolesA studio member is an Admin or Staff. Staff run the day: bookings, renters and payments. Admins also change settings and make exceptions to your rules, such as waiving a fee.
- Rooms and ratesEach room you rent has its own rates. A rate is hourly, so the price follows the length of the booking, or flat, the same price however long it lasts. A room without an active rate cannot be booked online.
- Booking windowRenters can book any free time that has not started yet, inside your opening hours and your booking rules, up to the number of days ahead you set. There is no minimum notice.
